Our customer service expertise covers all categories of machine and major manufacturers in the postpress sector: from Stitchmaster to Eurobind, from Stahlfolder to POLAR Mohr. We are also your competent service partner for Smyth thread book sewing machines and Bagel Systems machines, as well as classics from Polygraph or Brehmer. Do you have a machine from another manufacturer? Don’t hesitate to ask us about it! Our technicians are experienced all-round experts and will be able to help you with just about any question you might have!

Technical hotline

You can always speak to a competent team member on our service hotline. If your machine is connected to our remote servicing programme, we can usually solve the fault quickly and cost-effectively over the phone. This allows us to read out logs, localise malfunctions and take steps to correct these.

Maintenance & repair

We perform all the necessary servicing work to keep your machine in good working order – thus ensuring problem-free operation! In the interests of maintaining value and securing your investment, we replace wearing parts in good time, thus also preventing production stoppages. We pay particularly close attention to parts such as the stitching heads in Heidelberg and Hohner machines. These are maximum precision components that have to function perfectly, even under heavy-duty conditions (dust, wear debris). So it’s not only vital, but also makes economic sense to make sure that stitching heads are regularly serviced and overhauled.

Sourcing and ordering spare parts and consumables

Are you having trouble finding the right spare part? Our technical support service is guaranteed to help you find the spare part that you need. We supply stitching wire, lubricant, suckers, suction tapes and much more besides – quickly and reliably. You can also obtain the consumable materials you need from us. Just give us a call!

Installing & relocating machines

Whether you want to move one machine or a whole group to a different location – we can disassemble the machines for you, prepare them for transport and set them up again in their new position. To finish up, our technicians will start up the machines and hand back over to you ready for production.

User support & operator training

Not every job runs smoothly. We have many years of experience in manufacturing and are always happy to help when things get difficult. Whether you want to move a machine or have questions about how to use a particular function, you can rely on our experience in project planning within the postpress industry.

In addition to our user support services, we also work to increase the productivity of your machine by providing training and workshops to build user skills. We train operating personnel in how to correctly use and maintain a machine as well as giving tips and advice to help solve production-related problems.

Locally based – internationally active

International cooperation has been an integral part of the postpress sector for many years. This is reflected in the large radius covered by our service technicians. We currently service sites in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Here at PPL, we only work with properly trained technicians who also have the requisite language skills, as was standard practice for decades under our predecessor company.
