A multi-tasker for gluing: the DA 850 from IML Machinery

Do you produce cardboard boxes or slipcases? Then you should definitely get acquainted with the new DA 850 from the Italian company, IML Machinery. It can dramatically improve the efficiency and quality of your finished products, whether it’s luxury packaging or high-quality book production.

Adaptation made easy: the DA 850’s modular design

Alongside the grooving machines DA 120 M / DA 140, the DA 850 is one of IML Machinery’s most innovative products. Its worktable, which is available in lengths of two, four, or six meters, can be outfitted with a device that makes it easier to position the cardboard on the glued paper. The vacuum ensures that the cover material is completely flat and that the box blanks are placed precisely by hand on the glued material cover. What makes the DA 850 a “multi-tasker”? You can adapt it easily to meet your various needs. You can use it to cover fine cardboard boxes, board games, all sorts of covers, binders, folders, as well as a range of other products.

The DA 859 has features that hit the mark: viscosity control and a feeder

The DA 850 has two noteworthy features. It has automatic viscosity control, ensuring that the glue density is constant at every point, which is absolutely essential for producing quality premium goods; and its feeder allows you to feed the cover material either manually, for small jobs, or automatically.

You can also add to the DA 850, the DA 900, which makes additional processing for covering the box possible.
